Even outside of the Hajj, Muslims worldwide face the Khaba Sharif during their daily prayers. The direction of the Al-Kaba is determined based on the location of the worshipper relative to Mecca, with the qibla being the shortest directional line between the worshipper and the Masjid al-Haram.
